Video SEO in 2018?
Okay, just a disclaimer – I’m not that serious in doing video SEO anymore this time around, because I now switched to FB ads.
I admit I became a little bit lazy in spending time optimizing my videos, and I now have some budget so I kinda gave up on video SEO.
The last time I gave tips on this subject was way back in 2014 (geez, can’t believe that was 4 years ago)…
But hey, most of those tips I gave in this video can still work up to now.
Anyway, even if I no longer personally do video SEO that much, I know that a lot of you still wanted to learn how to rank videos today and so I opened this topic now…
First off, the beauty of optimizing your videos is that, once they rank, they can give you results for a longer period of time (unlike ads that are for short term).
What you’ll work on today can give you results even in the next years.
But of course, you also have to be willing to spend some time to work and be patient to wait for the result.
And some of the tricks that was working a few years ago no longer work today.

Those are poweful tips, but they are mostly on the onsite SEO side.
On the offsite side, you can also get some social signals and backlinks.
I’ve been using Magic Submitter for this before and it’s great but it’s really pricy.
