If you're subscribed to my list, you know that we just transferred to this old house awarded to my wife from the university she is working at.
We got it right away because we can save a ton in the long run.
Although the house is old and quite simple, I like the environment full of nature with fresh air. I really like it that we're like living in the province - something I missed from my younger years.
Setting up my home studio
Of course, a studio room is one of the first things I setup in this place.
And after fighting for this room with my wife, I finally setup my working station with the camera and lights and all that.
I then started recording a video earlier for my new lessons inside Course Genesis.

Okay, the raw footage doesn't actually look like that and I had to resort on Adobe Premiere Pro to add a color grading to make myself and the backdrop look like a professional studio - that's the beauty of having a or skill in this area 🙂
I really like how the talking head ended up visually, though the audio of my video still have a bit of "roomy echo," which is not so bad but I still wanna fix.
I tried adding some stuff here in the room to absorb the echo but it's still not fixed. Maybe I need to buy some sound proof wallings soon.
So again, I had to resort on Adobe Premiere Pro to fix the echo - now I'm getting what I'm paying for because Adobe CC is taking my money monthly 🙂
Our internet connection is still slow
This is still something that frustrates me right now and we are still waiting for our fast internet connection to be transferred.
I'm still using this instant plug and play wifi which is working but very limited.
I'm just happy I was able to upload the video I did earlier but that's what I can pretty much do for now.
I can't still host a video conference or do live streaming at the moment.
Back to business...
Despite the limitations, I'm now back to business.
I'll continue the lessons inside Course Genesis and I'll review some apps very soon.
After finishing Course Genesis, I'll start a new program either in the service or video niche again.
