Inform & entertain at the same time
Unless you're a professional actor or a natural entertainer, it's really hard to inform and entertain at the same time using live action videos.
In cartoons? Well, it's easy! And you don't need some acting skills and natural born talents to do so.
Just use some funny characters to show a story and your message will become very interesting.
Also, compared to most live action videos that are so intellectual yet boring, you can grab the attention of your audience to watch your video from start to finish using cartoon videos.
Characterization
A character is always important, specially when it comes to visual story telling.
Through a character, viewers can have someone to relate with.
Of course you can always do this using real people as actors, but you and I both know that it's not a cost effective solution.
in a cartoon video, you can simply use any characters that can portray certain emotions, even to them point of exaggerating them for emphasis....

I remember the time when I was watching the Japanese cartoon Slam Dunk.
I can really feel all Sakuragi's funny expressions because of his exaggerated facial expressions - something that is hard to achieve in a live action video.
As I already mentioned, once you touch people's emotion, it's a lot easier to compel them to buy your product or avail of your service.
And cartoon videos are very powerful in doing this!

Unlike live action videos wherein you are limited with your location, resources, and a lot of things, you are almost limitless when in comes to creating animated videos.
You can visualize abstract ideas, show any place you like (heck you can even go to the outer space!), and show any visual scenes.
I can go on and on and list down more here but I hope that this list is enough to show you that cartoon videos are actually powerful video marketing tool.
And no, I'm not saying that live action videos are already useless and you only need cartoon videos.
Of course live action are still necessary specially showing the "real thing" like real estate properties, physical products, talking head videos, etc.
But because cartoons has "powers" that live action videos don't, it's a great idea to use cartoons as well.
In fact, you can even do a hybrid of live action and cartoons or maybe use animated videos as b-roll to your live action videos.
How to Create Cartoon Videos
Okay cartoon videos are very effective for marketing. Great! But let's come to the next problem - how to create cartoon videos? Well, you've got 3 options - outsource, manually create yourself, use easy-to-use apps. Let's see if one of these options is viable for you...
Outsource to professional animators
Outsourcing the cartoon video creation is of course a great option because all you have to do is find a professional to do all the works for you.
However, you also have to be willing for pay at least $1000 for this.
